How to travel

  • To get on board, raise your hand to signal your interest; remember to request boarding in advance.

  • Unless otherwise indicated, boarding takes place via the front door.

  • Press the bell and move toward the center or rear doors.

Note! If the bell is not working, please alert the driver so they can stop the vehicle safely.

  • No, smoking is not permitted. The ban also applies to electronic cigarettes.

  • Yes, provided your luggage does not exceed the total dimensions of 105 cm and a weight of 10 kg. If you have larger items, you may still bring them, but please consult our full Terms and Conditions in the dedicated section of our website.

TIPS: On extra-urban buses, the driver supervises luggage loading at terminals. If you need to collect your bags at a stop along the route, please check with the driver first to ensure it is safe.

Note! On urban buses, be mindful of other passengers with luggage before boarding. Only enter if there is sufficient space. Once on board, please keep aisles and doorways clear to allow others to board and alight safely.

  • No, luggage is not insured. We are not responsible for luggage that is forgotten, lost, or left unattended.

  • If the minor is under 10 years old, they must be accompanied. If they are between 10 and 18 years old (not yet turned 18), they may travel alone, but a written authorization is required.

TIP: You can download and fill out the authorization form from this page: https://www.at-bus.it/en/transport-children

  • Yes, as long as it can be carried safely. Strollers must be placed in the designated areas, have the brakes engaged, and be held by the accompanying person. You can find all transport guidelines on this page: https://www.at-bus.it/en/transport-children

TIP: If space is limited, priority must be given to passengers with reduced mobility. In this case, strollers must be folded, kept in a closed position, must not occupy seats, and must not obstruct or pose any risk to other passengers.

  • Yes, you can bring one animal per passenger free of charge. Dogs must be kept on a leash and wear a muzzle at all times, with the exception of guide dogs assisting blind passengers. Please ensure your pet does not obstruct the aisles and is managed safely throughout the journey.

TIPS: You may use a pet carrier as an alternative to a leash and muzzle, provided it does not exceed the maximum dimensions of 140 cm and does not occupy any seats. Please note that if the carrier is larger than these dimensions, you will be required to purchase a single ticket for its transport.

  • Children travel free of charge if they are less than 1 meter tall, provided they are accompanied by a fare-paying adult and do not occupy a seat.

TIPS: For further details and specific guidelines regarding the transport of children on our buses, you can find more information by visiting this dedicated page: https://www.at-bus.it/en/transport-children

  • Yes, you can bring them if their total dimensions do not exceed 195 cm.
    Please note that:

-On urban services: they must be folded, with no protruding parts, and positioned so as not to obstruct boarding or exiting through the bus doors. The vehicle must not be left unattended by its owner. It may be placed in the space reserved for people with disabilities or wheelchairs only if that space is free and not required by eligible passengers. In case of overcrowding, the driver may still refuse to allow its transport.

-On suburban services: loading and unloading can only be done at the terminus under the driver's supervision; if you need to get off along the route, ask the driver if this can be done safely. These items may only be transported in the bus's luggage compartment.
