Florence's new hub
On August 1st and September 1st, 2022, two interchange hubs were activated in the Vittorio Veneto area and in Piazzale Montelungo in Florence.
From September 1st, 2023, a third hub will also be active in the T2 Guidoni area.
The Vittorio Veneto hub is located near the stop of the T1 tram line Porta al Prato-Leopolda; the one in Montelungo is near the entrance to track 16 of the Santa Maria Novella railway station. The new T2 Guidoni hub will be located near the Guidoni T2 interchange parking lot near the respective tram stop and will be served by the lines R1, R03, R04, DD, 212 (until 31/8 in Piazza Vittorio Veneto).
- Travelers with an extraurban travel pass who arrive at the Vittorio Veneto hub can use the T1 tram for the route Porta al Prato-Leopolda <-> Alamanni (Florence Santa Maria Novella Station)
- Travelers with an extraurban travel pass who arrive at T2 Guidoni can use the T2 tram in the Guidoni <-> Alamanni section, the T1 line in the Alamanni <-> Porta al Prato-Leopolda section, and the urban lines: 23 in the T2 Guidoni <-> Santa Maria Novella Station section and 30 in the T2 Guidoni <-> Porta al Prato-Leopolda section.
