For Lucca Comics & Games 2026, taking place from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November, bus routes and termini in Lucca change. The diversions apply from 00:00 on Wednesday 28 October to 24:00 on Sunday 1 November; the temporary terminus is already in use from Tuesday 27 October at 17:00. In brief

  • Temporary terminus: from Tuesday 27 October at 17:00, the Piazzale Verdi terminus moves to the Palatucci car park in Viale Carlo Del Prete.
  • Railway station: buses do not serve Lucca station.
  • Viale San Concordio: traffic now runs in the opposite direction, and nearby streets have new one-way systems.
  • Line 6 free on Sunday 1 November: one bus every 30 minutes, towards Capannori from 8:00 to 20:00 and towards Lucca from 8:26 to 20:26.
  • Tickets: the at ticket office in Piazzale Verdi stays open. You will find ticket prices and ways to buy them below.

Line 1+

  • Towards Ospedale San Luca: starts from the Via Catalani (farmacia) stop and runs via Via Geminiani, Piazzale Italia, Viale Luporini, Viale Papi, Viale Carlo Del Prete, Viale Batoni, Viale Marti and Viale Marconi.
  • Towards Sant'Anna: from the Porta Elisa roundabout it runs via Viale Marconi, Viale Marti, Viale Batoni, Via Barsanti e Matteucci, Via delle Tagliate, Via dei Cavalletti, Viale Papi and Piazzale Boccherini.

Line 2+

  • San Vito – San Concordio: runs via Viale Marti, Viale Batoni, Via Barsanti e Matteucci, Via delle Tagliate, Via dei Cavalletti, Viale Papi, Piazzale Boccherini, Viale Luporini, Viale Nieri and Viale Europa. It does not turn into Via Bandettini: it takes the San Donato variant and returns to Viale Europa towards Esselunga. It then continues along Viale San Concordio, Via Savonarola, Via della Formica, Via Tofanelli, Via Urbiciani, the side street off Via Passamonti, Via Passamonti, Via Consani, Via della Formica and Via Guidiccioni, to the temporary terminus at the Guidiccioni stop (LU0435).
  • San Concordio – San Vito: from the temporary terminus in Via Guidiccioni it crosses the Viale Europa flyover and runs via Viale Carducci, Viale Papi and Viale Carlo Del Prete, then follows its usual route from the Borgo Giannotti roundabout.
  • San Vito – Chiasso: from Via Jacopo della Quercia it turns into Viale Marti and runs via Viale Batoni, Via Barsanti e Matteucci, Via delle Tagliate, Via dei Cavalletti, Viale Papi, Piazzale Boccherini and Viale Luporini, then follows its usual route.
  • Chiasso – San Vito: from Piazzale Italia it continues along Viale Luporini, turns into Viale Papi and runs via Viale Carlo Del Prete, then follows its usual route from the Borgo Giannotti roundabout.

Line 3+

  • Runs cancelled.

Line 4

  • Towards Stazione FS: starts from the Palatucci car park and runs via Via dei Cavalletti, Viale Carlo Del Prete, Viale Batoni, Viale Marti, Viale Marconi and the Porta Elisa roundabout, then turns into Viale Cadorna and follows its usual route.
  • Towards Mugnano: from the Porta Elisa roundabout it runs via Viale Marconi, Viale Marti, Viale Batoni, Via Barsanti e Matteucci and Via delle Tagliate, to the temporary terminus at the Palatucci car park.

Line 5

  • Towards Stazione FS: starts from the Via Catalani (farmacia) stop and runs via Viale Nieri and Viale Europa. It does not turn into Via Bandettini: it takes the San Donato variant, returns to Viale Europa towards Esselunga and continues along Viale San Concordio.
  • Towards Sant'Anna: from Viale Europa it runs via Viale Carducci, Viale Papi, Viale Carlo Del Prete, Via delle Tagliate, Viale Papi and Piazzale Boccherini.
  • 7:04 run, Pontetetto – Via del Peso: from the Viale Europa flyover it runs via Viale Carducci, Viale Papi and Viale Carlo Del Prete, and ends at the Palatucci car park.
  • 7:11 run, San Concordio – Pontetetto: starts from the Via Savonarola stop (LU0595).
  • 7:30 run, Via del Peso – Pontetetto: starts from the Palatucci car park and runs via Via delle Tagliate, Via dei Cavalletti, Viale Papi, Piazzale Boccherini, Viale Luporini, Viale Nieri and Viale Europa; it takes the San Donato variant, returns to Viale Europa towards Esselunga and continues along Viale San Concordio.

Line 6 (Lucca – Capannori)

  • Sunday 1 November: the line is free and runs every 30 minutes, as on weekdays: towards Capannori from 8:00 to 20:00, towards Lucca from 8:26 to 20:26.
  • Towards Capannori: runs via Viale Carlo Del Prete, Viale Batoni, Viale Marconi and Viale Castracani, then follows its usual route.
  • Towards Lucca: does not serve the station. It runs via Viale Castracani, Viale Marconi, Viale Batoni and Via delle Tagliate, to the terminus at the Palatucci car park.

Lines 51, 53, 57 and 59

  • Same route as extra-urban lines E4, E5 and E10–E14.
  • Towards the Palatucci car park: they run via Viale Marti, Viale Batoni, Via Barsanti e Matteucci and Via delle Tagliate, to the Palatucci car park.
  • From the Palatucci car park: they run via Via delle Tagliate, Viale Carlo Del Prete and Viale Batoni, then follow their usual route.

Line 54

  • Santa Maria del Giudice – Palatucci: runs via Viale Europa, Viale Carducci, Viale Papi and Viale Carlo Del Prete, to the Palatucci car park.
  • Palatucci – Santa Maria del Giudice: runs via Via delle Tagliate, Viale Papi and Piazzale Boccherini. It does not turn into Via Bandettini: it takes the San Donato variant, then Viale Europa and Viale San Concordio.

Lines 55 and 58

  • Same route as extra-urban lines E2 and E19.
  • Towards the Palatucci car park: they run via Viale Catalani at the junction with Via Geminiani, Viale Luporini, the Piazzale Boccherini roundabout, Viale Papi and Viale Carlo Del Prete, to the Palatucci car park.
  • From the Palatucci car park: they run via Via delle Tagliate, Viale Papi and Piazzale Boccherini, then follow their usual route.

Lines 63 and 67

  • From Viale Luporini and Via Pisana: they run via Piazzale Boccherini, Viale Papi and Viale Carlo Del Prete, to the Palatucci car park.
  • Towards Via Pisana and Viale Luporini: they run via Via delle Tagliate, Viale Papi and Piazzale Boccherini, then follow their usual route.

Service 901

  • Temporary stop at Viale Pacini 2, for getting on and off.

All extra-urban lines arrive at the Palatucci car park. Lines that follow the same route are grouped together.

Lines E1, E3, 851 and DD

  • Towards Lucca: they run via Viale Europa, Viale Carducci, Viale Papi and Viale Carlo Del Prete, to the Palatucci car park.
  • Leaving Lucca (towards Marina di Carrara, Pisa, Montecatini and Florence): they run via Via delle Tagliate, Viale Papi and Piazzale Boccherini, then follow their usual route.
  • The DD does not serve the station.

Lines E2 and E19

  • From Viale Puccini and Via Catalani: they run via Viale Catalani at the junction with Via Geminiani, Viale Luporini, the Piazzale Boccherini roundabout, Viale Papi and Viale Carlo Del Prete, to the Palatucci car park.
  • Towards Viale Puccini and Via Catalani: they run via Via delle Tagliate, Viale Papi and Piazzale Boccherini, then follow their usual route.

Lines E4, E5, E6, E7, E8, E10, E11, E12, E13, E14, E15, E16, E17, E22 and 61

  • Towards Lucca (from Via Civitali and Foro Boario, Via di Tiglio and Viale Castracani, Segromigno and San Pietro a Marcigliano, Camaiore and Cima Fiano, Lammari and Liso): they run via Viale Marti, Viale Batoni, Via Barsanti e Matteucci and Via delle Tagliate, to the Palatucci car park.

Line E9

  • Ruota – Palatucci: runs via Viale Marti, Viale Batoni, Via Barsanti e Matteucci and Via delle Tagliate, to the Palatucci car park.
  • Palatucci – Ruota: runs via Via delle Tagliate, Viale Carlo Del Prete, Viale Batoni and Viale Europa. It does not turn into Via Bandettini: it takes the San Donato variant, then Viale San Concordio and Via Guidiccioni, then follows its usual route.

Line E18

  • Vorno – Palatucci: in Via di Pontestrada it does not turn into Via di Sorbano del Giudice but carries straight on, then runs via Via di Sorbano del Vescovo, Via Nottolini, Via Consani, Via della Formica, Via Savonarola, Viale Europa, Viale Carducci, Viale Papi and Viale Carlo Del Prete, to the Palatucci car park.
  • Palatucci – Vorno: runs via Via delle Tagliate, Viale Carlo Del Prete, Viale Batoni and Viale Europa. It does not turn into Via Bandettini: it takes the San Donato variant, then Viale San Concordio, Via Savonarola, Via della Formica, Via Consani, Via Nottolini and Via di Sorbano del Vescovo, then follows its usual route.

  • Where to buy it: at the at ticket office in Piazzale Verdi, in the at bus app with a my at account, or by SMS (€2.40).
