Friday 30 October, demonstration and march in Florence

On Friday 30 October 2026 there will be a demonstration in Florence involving workers and the school sector, with a march through several central areas of the city.

Marchers will gather at 10:00 in Piazza Bambine e Bambini di Beslan. The march will then follow this route: Viale Strozzi, Viale Lavagnini, Piazza della Libertà, Via Cavour, Piazza San Marco, Via Arazzieri, Via XXVII Aprile, Piazza Indipendenza, Via Nazionale, Via Santa Caterina, Via della Scala, Porta al Prato and Viale Fratelli Rosselli, ending in Piazza Vittorio Veneto.

Streets and squares along the route will be closed to traffic while the march goes by.

Urban and extra-urban lines to and from Florence may be slowed down, delayed, diverted or cancelled. Because the route is so long, we cannot guarantee that services will run regularly.

Please plan your journey with these possible disruptions in mind.
