Who can get the discounted pass (Tuscany Regional Law 100/98)
1. Residents of Tuscany over 65, if they meet income limits:
- Single person (unmarried, widowed, separated)
- income ≤ €10,763.35 if living alone or with family with no other income
- or income ≤ €8,610.68
- Married person
- personal income ≤ €8,610.68 and combined household income ≤ €21,526.70
- or personal income > €8,610.68 but combined household income ≤ €17,221.36
- Or certain specific categories, regardless of age:
- civilian or work-related invalids with an invalidity rating ≥ 67%
- service-related invalids (categories I–VIII)
- blind or deaf-mute people
- people with severe disability (Law 104/1992)
- disabled minors receiving an attendance or frequency allowance
- war invalids or war-wounded
- recipients of military valour decorations, Knights of Vittorio Veneto, freedom fighters of 1943–45, victims of political or racial persecution
People over 65 declared invalid are treated the same as those with an invalidity rating ≥67%.
If the person with an invalidity is entitled to a companion, the companion also travels at no extra charge.
40% reduction on the price
All beneficiaries can get a 40% discount if:
- personal income ≤ €8,610.68
- or income ≤ €10,763.35 if living alone or with no other income in the household.
The discount is for residents of Tuscany, mainly people over 65 with low income or people with an invalidity or in protected categories, with a possible 40% discount on the pass.
