Tickets - blink

  • You can only buy timed urban tickets valid for the cities of: Arezzo, Florence, Grosseto, Livorno, Lucca, Massa, Carrara, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato, and the MIV area.

  • You can buy up to 10 tickets in a single purchase session.

  • You can pay with: 

    • Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards 
    • Digital wallets: GPay (Google Pay), Apple Pay, and Bancomat Pay
  • After completing your purchase, Blink tickets are sent by email to the address you provided during the process. 
    You will receive one email per ticket purchased, containing: 

    • the type of ticket and its unique identification code, 
    • activation instructions and usage conditions, 
    • the activation link.  

    Note: The ticket must be activated by clicking the link before boarding.

     

  • To use the Blink ticket, you must activate it before boarding by clicking on the link received by email. 

    Note: Once activated: 
    • the ticket is non-transferable, 
    • it can only be used on the device where it was activated. 

  • A cumulative receipt is automatically sent to the email address you provided at the time of purchase, together with the tickets.

  • In case of inspection, you must show the activated ticket on your device. Staff will check it either visually or with their tools.

  • When the ticket is activated, the ticket screen shows: 

    • QR Code 
    • Unique code 
    • Remaining time 
    • Ticket type 
    • City of use 
    • Validity period

  • No, the Blink ticket does not expire if it hasn’t been activated.  Note: Once activated and after the validity period has ended, the ticket screen will show the message “Ticket expired.” 

  • No, to travel you must activate the ticket by clicking the activation link contained in the email.

  • You cannot use your ticket on a device different from the one used for activation.

  • Yes, Blink is a digital ticket. To activate and use it on your smartphone, you need an active data connection.

  • If you exceed the ticket’s validity period, you may be fined. We recommend: 

    • planning your trip with our Travel Planner, 
    • activating a new ticket if your journey lasts longer, so you are covered for the entire trip.  

    TIPS: Validity times are 70 minutes (90 minutes in Florence). 

  • Yes, before activation you can forward the email to anyone you like.

  • Yes, you can activate multiple tickets on your device if you’re traveling with others.  

    Note: Remember that everyone must travel with you, as you’ll be the one showing the activated tickets during an inspection. 

  • No, each person who will use the ticket must receive the full email sent at the time of purchase. Sharing only the activation link is not enough.
