Change in route for line 5 of Portoferraio.

From Monday 6th October 2025, important new changes will come into effect in Portoferraio:

New line 10
The new line 10 is being introduced, active on weekdays during the winter period, with a circular route connecting the main urban areas. This new line offers greater coverage of the territory, introducing two new stops.

Route: Calata Matteotti – Calata Italia – Viale Elba – Viale Zambelli – Viale Teseo Tesei – Via Manganaro – Piazza Dante – Viale Carducci – Viale Vittorio Emanuele II – Calata Mazzini – Calata Matteotti

Changes to line 5
Line 5 will be partially modified in its route:
- it will no longer serve the section between Calata Matteotti and Viale Zambelli, now served by the new Line 10,
- two new pairs of trips (outward and return) to the hospital will be introduced, with the following times:
departures from Calata Matteotti: 15:05 and 20:05
departures from the Hospital: 15:10 and 20:10
- the morning trips to the hospital at 08:47 (outward) and 08:52 (return) will be cancelled.
